There are historical Phaselis (Phaselis), Olympos holiday resort and Yanartaş in its vicinity. In addition, within the borders of Tekirova, there is Tahtalı Mountain, which is one of the highest peaks of the Taurus Mountains, at an altitude of 2800 meters, suitable for winter tourism. Three Islands, where diving tourism is made, are on the coast of Tekirova. In Tekirova, there is also Eko Park, which is the first (Flora-Fauna) texture study in the world in terms of its purpose and content.
On August 20, 1998, it became a municipality by taking the status of municipality. It became a neighborhood with the law numbered 6360, which was accepted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 12 November 2012.
