Dalaman, which is a district of Muğla Province in the Mediterranean Region, is located between Köyceğiz, Ortaca and Fethiye districts of the same province and Çameli district of Denizli province. Dalaman, which was a single municipality with the merger of the towns of Atakent and Dalaman, which were previously affiliated to the Köyceğiz District, was made a district in 1983.

It is thought that the ancient city of Euhippe was located in the north of the Caria region, next to Dalaman, where the Alaçatlı Village (Alaca-atlı) is located.

Dalaman Train Station is also located in Dalaman district.
